Breakfast: Muesli & Cereal
Lunch: Chicken Ceasar Salad
Dinner: Shephers Pie, Peas & Cabbage
Breakfast: We had a late start today. Those that know will see the irony in the fact that we were woken at around 6:30 by the neighbour deciding to strim their back garden. 3 weeks of perfect weather and he chose a miserable rainy early morning to spend an hour strimming. We did nod off though. So a late breakfast
Lunch: Ceasar salad is quick and easy, with or without Chicken. However, I had been looking forward to adding anchovies to mine ( I prefer salted rather than in oil) and halfway through lumch realised I had forgotten to add them. And know I have a hankering for them. Perhaps lunch tomorrow, Maggie dislikes them intensely
Dinner: This weather is so uninspiring. I think we are easily lulled into a false sense of security in regards to good weather in this country. Evidence by the first sign of sunshine and the stirng vests and shorts appear on the street. And everyone thinks it is going to last through the whole of the summer.
We had planned a Greek style meze this evening using up our left over lamb, but it is cold and wet and windy. So... Shepherds pie from the freezer makes a heartier meal. And a bottle of Pinot Noir (Francois Dubussy) from Lidl at £4.99. Another of our 'house' wine
