Day 56-6 : Monday 18th May, 2020

Breakfast: Boiled Egg & Toast, Toast & Marmalade Lunch: Corned Beef Sandwich, Date & Walnut Bread Dinner: Prawn Cocktail, Pork & Chicken Terrine, Egg & Chips Breakfast: Wonderful morning in the sunshine. Marmalade seems to suit breakfast in the garden Toast & Marmalade Lunch: A very nice combination with the Date & Walnut Bread.  We took a quick run out to the supermarket today, definitely more people on the streets.  And even after all of this time, I am not sure how many people quite understand what social distancing is. Children running around in a supermarket, playing hide & seek with their parents Dinner: A take on Ham, Egg & Chips. This was the terrines we made a couple of weeks ago. Day 43 : Tuesday 5th May, 2020

Breakfast: Boiled Egg & Toast Soldiers Lunch: Pork, Chicken & Sausage Terrine, with Pistachio & Cranberries Dinner: Chicken Breast and Creamed Mushroom Sauce, Sweet Potato Fries & Green Beans Breakfast: Boiled Egg in another of our egg cups. This is an Alessi egg cup Lunch: Pork and anything terrine.  This is another economical dish.  Recipe to follow Pork, Chicken & Sausage Terrine but in the meantime... For 2 terrines the main ingredients are 1 kg of pork mince, 3 sausages, 2 chicken breasts, 8 rashers of bacon. That will give a total of about 24 to 28 slices. Boiled Egg You can make a terrine in countless combinations.  Duck Breast / Pheasant / Different sausages / Chicken Liver / Asparagus etc etc Dinner: This is a quick and satisfying dinner, another of Maggie's recipes and she can whip this up in about 20 minutes Chicken in Mushroom Sauce
