Day 74-24 : Friday 5th June, 2020

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs on Toast: Lunch: Cheese on Toast Dinner: Gammon Han, Egg & Chips Scrambled Eggs Breakfast: I had intended to make ice cream this week, but have not got round to it yet.  We had yolks left over from meringues so had to use them up Lunch: Red Leicester, perhaps not the best cheese for this but quick and simple. Cheese oin Toast Dinner: The gammon is serving us well.  The chips were a bit average, the potatoes just seemed a little dry. Carving Gammon Ham Tefal Fryer Our deep fat fryer is magical.  Tefal Oleoclean.  After use it filters and drains the oil into a sealed container, ready for further use.  It is very easy to clean, all in the dishwasher and very little mess

Day 70-20 : Monday 1st June, 2020

Breakfast: Boiled Egg & Toast Soldiers Lunch: Cheese & Tomato Sandwich Dinner: Baked Gammon, Grilled Asparagus, Minted New Potatoes Boiled Egg Breakfast: Having breakfast in the garden is such a delight. We are lucky enough to be able to choose different spots around the garden.  This is a new position we are enjoying, a view of the new Rose Garden Lunch: Now lunch was an odd thing.  Maggie had to go out for a while, and I went into automatic and started to make 2 sandwiches.  Well after 70 days. Baked Gammon Dinner: I bought a 2.2kg gammon ham at Swiss Farm, into the smoker for about 3 hours at 150c then glaze with a little marmalade and mustard. Gammon, Potatoes, Asparagus

Day 68-18 : Saturday 30th May, 2020

Breakfast: Cereals Lunch: A quick pork pie in the car Dinner: Grilled Lobster Tails & Garlic Butter, Cheeseburgers Lunch: We skipped lunch really and so a couple of pork pies in the car served as a quick 'picnic'. We visited Grace at their new flat near Hadleigh, and a shopping trip to the local Morrisons.  We also visited Swiss Farm  for some meat, and have a nice gammon for next week Maine Lobster Tails Hamburgers in the grill Dinner:  We picked up Maine Lobster tails at Waitrose.  Good value at 20% of (on a Friday).  Unfortunately they only had the 2 tails. But the cost was only £7.30.  Cooked on the mini bbq Cheeseburgers also on the mini bbq
